Relief, grief & apprehension would seem to be the order of the day. Glad it's over, yet fearful it may start again at any moment, and grieving for all that's been lost. Other emotions like anger and determination will dominate later, but lament first, relax, and stay vigilant. ❤️

I learned smoking was bad when I was in 2nd grade (1972-'73). I drove my parents and their friends nuts with that. I've never seen any appeal in smoking, toking, or, nowadays, vaping. When I was little, I'd handle cigarette packs like dog turds, with only two fingers. Mom never understood.

No. The Guard didn't load live ammo, as they did at Kent State, they were more disciplined (sorta), and nobody was killed, which, I'm sure, disappoints a lot of MAGATs. However, future confrontations will likely escalate, so there's a possibility blood will flow at some point.
