A lot of people refuse to believe that people arent capable of doing bad things without reason
In thier minds this person did somthing bad BECAUSE somthing probably happened to them they refuse to beleive that most the time people are awful.

People say they can’t trust a victim until they win in court, but if they win in court, they still refuse to believe it. The idea that you need a court win to believe someone is a smokescreen for your refusal to believe them

People also live longer now Becuase we are able to fix things people succumbed to previously

People were not healthier in the past. They just weren't. There was no pre-industrial Eden where people drank raw milk and river water and lived healthy, pain-free lives. You cannot retvrn to good health.
