@iea.org halved its US outlook, but raised India’s by 10%, putting it on track as the No. 2 growth market after China. MENA up 23%, driven by Saudi wind and solar.

Only a fraction of electric and electronic equipment – around 4 million tonnes– is recycled and prepared for reuse. Optimising these processed would reduce demand for both extraction and production, and slow down resource loops.

Today on #ISAD2025, we share findings from a recent APHRC, Guttmacher & Ministry of Health study: 🇰🇪 had 793K abortions in 2023, 1 in 4 among adolescents. 1 in 6 women faced life-threatening complications, yet only 18% of facilities offer post-abortion care.
