MLB has to do something about these hit batters. Feels like every day some position play is getting an x-ray or CT because of getting hit. Especially the @atlbravesofficial.bsky.social !

Ichiro is Baseball. ⚾️
At last year’s Mariners Spring Training, Ichiro showed up unannounced, by himself & casually did his thing.
When I asked why he was there, a Mariners staffer shrugged: “Oh, he just shows up whenever he wants.”
There were maybe 3 people watching.

I don't know who the main producers for the Macy's parade this year but they really cheated the marching bands of screen time this year. The amount of practice, fundraising and organizing by those communities to make that trip is staggering. Cutting to a commercial during a performance is insulting.
