Turning public lands into private pollution generating property because to these market fundamentalists nothing has meaning if it does not have a price.

The promise of machine intelligence is to create an individual cubbyhole for each individual in which to isolate, because crowds and solidarity are the enemy of Taylorism, tech wealth concentration and silicon political power.

So this is funny.
The administration just issued a rule slashing foreign agricultural worker wages. And to justify it, in a public filing, Trump's Labor Department alleges that Trump's immigration enforcement has devastated the Ag workforce and caused a "risk of supply shock-induced food shortages."
Trump Labor Department Says His Immigration Raids Are Causing a Food Crisis
In a filing in the Federal Register, the Labor Department argues there are “immediate dangers to the American food supply” due to a lack of migrant agricultural workers.

Grandpa Trump? Old man Trump? Wrinkly Trump? Stained old man Trump? Hair Furor is my favorite, though perhaps it distracts.

The fact that Democrats have a 10 point advantage over the GOP in Virginia on education shows just how wrong the national party/pundit takes on this issue have turned out to be. Virginia, of course, is where the narrative about the electoral power of school culture wars began

The Repugs experience of power is a private sector employer whose given at-will hiring/firing in a “right-to-work” regime. Any negotiation is weakness, it’s coercion all the time.

Republicans are clear about power and how to use it. Until the rules create a fair institution, Democrats should learn how to use power and act!

House Republicans are refusing to seat Dem Adelita Grijalva, who won a special election more than a week ago. She's the last signature needed to force a vote on the Epstein files.

The soonest the GOP will act is Oct. 7. In three prior specials this year, the winners were all sworn in a day later.

Such a good negotiator. He has the negotiating skills of an employer backed by expansive property rights and at-will employment in a “Right-to-Work” legal regime. Basically institutional dominance and coercion for him, submission or death for the other side.

Thank you so much for this. I'm reminded of 2 years ago, when my sophomore students that worked in admissions had to answer random calls about where the university stood on DEI and free speech for days because a conservative faculty member doxxed her (genocide studies) grad students in the WSJ.
