I re-upped Game Pass to check out some games on there: Metal Slug Tactics, Avowed, Frostpunk 2, Hundred Heroes! So far, Frostpunk 2 is an amazing example of how to make a bigger sequel, not sure if it's better yet, but it's been fun losing so far.

The lack of a central character really hurts the narrative and the side missions feel more like busy work than ever before.

I relayed 2 recently and the DedSec kids are the best open world game characters ever.

The Last Remnant is so strange, with a dense combat system it never fully explains, but I found it fascinating. Never got all the achievements because you have to play a VERY specific way to get them.

Follow a guide if you want that Plat!

A little repetitive is a nice way to describe it, but that's why I played it as a "podcast game." Pick the character whose movement style works for you, and stick with them, not much of a point switching unless you want the "level everyone to 50" achievement.

Picked up Darkest Dungeon on Steam around the Shieldbearer release, then again on Vita, bought the sequel on Early Access.

Still one of the best games I’ve ever played.
