Hey happy to be here
Not sure how you could’ve worded your initial post any clearer? They’re looking to get angry/just want to be angry IMO.

Cotton’s willing to say this and Dems should be willing to accept and echo it - the problem is with the first strike as well.

Agreed. I wonder if there’s data on “leaving job a -> time off b -> job c,” which could imply layoffs versus “ job a -> job c” which might imply labor leverage, and how that data could help spell out the lie.
My bet’s that they’re trying to play this off as a good market for labor to calm ppl down.

That’s cool that you work with induction devices if I’m reading that correctly. Totally agree otherwise. The kitchen looks very nice when someone is seen cooking in it! It’s not meant for a “‘fireside chat’ panel.”

All other gross and stupid reasons aside, these dumb ideas are easiest to hold when you can only imagine a few hundred or thousand people existing.

This shit just doesn’t pan out to multiple millions of people.

You’re asking all the right questions. Maybe it’s just me but I as an old person need a video of someone getting the real book and showing the page and/or opening the audiobook and playing it. Hold a newspaper up or something.

Had to check that this was real. Wow.

Agreed but idk how it stays embarrassing for the people long enough to hurt them in the long term, given the info environment. “Senator Whatshisname said what in Dec. ‘25?”

QT, would you say that Dano is: weak and only in the role by accident? Shouldn’t be allowed to share a space, never mind industry, with a creator like yourself? Does it drive you a little insane how he comes across?

I think if you’re hating Dano in the role then, for this specific role and movie, Dano did his job.

I want Michael Denning to explain more things to me.

Wasn’t the email from LS to JE actually shown to be one of the creepiest/worst in the mix? The talk about the woman he wanted made his emails come as close to possible to the content being worse than the context.

One subplot running among the rest is this insistence by many in our country that they’re “lawyering” or being clever by reading The Rules exactly as-is, without any sort of good faith or adherence to the spirit of said rules. From courts to this student to low level communication at work.

i don't think it's the job of teachers to write a watertight rubric so that someone who doesn't want to do the assignment can do something else. it's expectations, not a congressional bill

If you don’t want a package from one project in another, you should simply finish the first project before starting another.
