You will learn a ton by even trying it. I found that arch has the best wiki for looking up issues, so I use a Linux version called Manjaro, which has Arch as the base of it. It's pretty and it has an updater application built into it that can handle most things. Obviously YMMV

Beve Sturke is refreshing as fuck. I really appreciate him being so vocal on all the bullshit.

I appreciate that the composition captures your emotions about having it, too. Nice!

Thank you for sharing some joy and sunshine!

Oh, this is why I bought creality, ultimately!

No problem! I think the right answer is to look at what bambu is doing with the p1s. If you don't need the features, scale down. If you want the features, spend the extra and get something similar.

I'm very early into filtration so thank you for the frank warning!

In my case specifically I needed to add a dehumidifier to the space in order to get it closer to 45 baseline. I also bought a model that has a hose line, so the tank is typically empty without my intervention. I'll post pictures of the mod once done and report on whether it was useful

I'm going to mod my AMS to be a dryer, and I essentially rebuilt my space with a strong dehumidifier to handle that part. Test prints look good so far!

I think my answer is that your spend is very contingent on what you want to try first. I was $150 us out to start with my ender 3 V2 and some filament. However I quickly found I needed a better platform to do the projects I wanted.

Honestly the corruption theme can be awesome still in the right context. Like I can think of several obvious ones but essentially the tension is amazing for storytelling. Will they fall? How will it happen?

That looks incredible; if I find myself making ornaments this year, I'll be doing it with filament like that.

Raising stakes can be fun; but your friend may have wanted to raise steaks. If you're both good with the new stakes, raise away!

Which Cad app should I start with?

I was using an external enclosure with my previous rig. If you decide to get back on that horse, I would look into that.
