@ruenahcmohr.bsky.social In the TI datasheet for LMC555! This doesn’t give 50% duty cycle for TTL; does it for CMOS?

@ruenahcmohr.bsky.social Why is my 555 doing this? It appears to be enough to mess up my 74HC194.

@ruenahcmohr.bsky.social I have some (very) old breadboards that still work great. All the new ones I have recently bought have been crap: mostly too loose, sometimes too tight, some vary wildly across the board. Do you know of any reliable brands?

@ruenahcmohr.bsky.social In the Bad Place you asked about seven segment dances. Does this count?

@zachweinersmith.bsky.social Regarding nuclear reactor on the moon: "There's a certain part of the moon that everyone knows is the best. We have ice there, we have sunlight there. We want to get there first and claim that for America," Duffy said Tuesday.

@ruenahcmohr.bsky.social When tinkering for a couple of hours, and needing my analog oscilloscope, I tend to switch it on only when I’m using it, which means it goes on and off several times. Maybe it would be better to leave it on for the duration, dimmed when not active?

Touted in our first issue: a love-crazed soldier, scheming septuagenarians, an Anglo-French chastity plot, and a suspected nymphomaniac with a taste for fast cars.

@ruenahcmohr.bsky.social HV supply in oscilloscope. The single transistor oscillator is sine-ish — not square, does that help?
