It's going to be interesting to see how @bluesky evolves it's moderation. How much will be driven by the community, who it upsets and how final decisions are made.

One thing I believe. The world doesn't need another algorithmically inflamed, individually moderated, free speech platform

It's incredible how many people think that "free speech" only applies to speech they agree with. Its importance, however, is that it also protects speech you disagree with. Living in an echo chamber isn't good for anyone.

Also, the 1st applies to gov't restricting speech, not private entities.

Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me.

I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc
