Winter is coming to a close in the PNW. Spring is always bittersweet for me. However this weekend has already been full of memories for me. I love our time in the Cascade Mountains.

Sometimes the world is a place that makes me scared and sad. But then I see a spring flower doing all it can to bloom and I remember that life always finds a way. Yes I wish things were better but hope is often all we have when the world is crazy.

Happy International Women’s day to our girl! I know she is going to change the world. I hope too I set an example of a woman who cares more deeply about others than I do about myself.

The snow day break from school/work is into its second day. Since we have to make up the days anyway might as well enjoy them.

Anybody else feeling like they want to bury themselves in cozy and not come back out until May? I love winter. Truly I do but man the fall and winter have been a lot this year.

My Wee Bees Gee Bee Beanie Pattern getting a shout out yesterday certainly brightened my mood though.

Am I the only one feeling like the world is such an inhumane and insane place lately that I just can’t even engage on any social media lately? I just want to shut off my devices and keep it all out.

I need to appreciate more the moments that life is perfect.

Life is certainly crazy with its twists and turns. This time of year I am always reminded of that however I am forever grateful that I can still knit. It’s a blessing to send beautiful things I make out in the world.
