I’m worried about my bench but I think my starting lineup is solid at least. In the next few weeks we should learn if I’ve struck gold or clay.

Digit Code was a GenCon acquisition from Playte - deduce digits chosen by your opponent asking questions about what segments are lit and some numerical facts. Very solitaire feeling but it was a fun, tense challenge nonetheless!

Looking back at The Price Is Right when they came back from the first Covid wave, the set was so oddly empty, and they pumped in fake crowd noise. “Come on down” came from a backstage curtain, no audience. Huge empty spaces between everyone. Almost as weird as empty-stadium NFL games.

I don’t believe this sign outside the deli. I have to imagine they’d refuse to salad-ize tons of stuff. A lacrosse stick. David Letterman. Let’s Make a Deal. Saturn’s rings. Two bullfrogs. Birthday party cheesecake jellybean boom. The list goes on.

I’ve accomplished almost everything I could want in Balatro - gold stake on every deck, all challenges - so I’m just achievement hunting now. I’d never gotten a 20 card deck, and I got so dang close here, but look at that Erosion!

I came across a weird bug/data issue where Irving Berlin’s name shows up transliterated into katakana! I only use Spotify in English, really weird!
