Chris Nelson in his Calgary Herald column makes an excellent case for fully utilising school teachers and the schools they teach in.

Nelson: If teachers start working full time, everyone wins
Teachers say they're not paid enough but if they worked the same hours as most full-time employees there'd be oodles of cash to reward them.

I know we keep focusing on Colbert and Kimmel as we should, but we also need to remember there are hundreds of people who work for these shows who also just lost their jobs because of this bullshit, and most of them are probably not millionaires.

Does saying Netanyahu is a criminal make me an anti-Semite? I don’t care. Anyone who allows the death of a group of people by starving them to death and shooting them at aid stations is a criminal IMHO.

No one has successfully removed selenium from a waterway. The Elk River is toxic because the Elkford coal mines have left slag piles to leach into the river for decades, and only removing the piles will stop that process.

No amount of royalties are worth killing a river.

The water contamination, and the environmental and health risks are not worth the minuscule economic benefit this UCP government is chasing. It’s not worth passing these risks and liabilities onto our children.

The UCP gov needs to face the truth and start listening to science and experts. #ableg
