The Pirates history of player development does not give me hope for the future. I hope to be wrong. I want to be wrong. But we'll see. Sample size shows more negative impact than positive. I want winning baseball but you can't blame me for being skeptical

The Pirates will draft today. My thought process is that it doesn't matter because he'll be stuck in the minors to manipulate his playing time and he'll be good here for a season before wanting more and being shipped off. Rinse and repeat.
