Imagine if your child went to a concert & was taken hostage by terrorists after 400 of their fellow concert-goers were massacred & the world ignored your kid or celebrated his plight.

There's so much bias against Jewish people & it's heartbreaking!

I’ve got some feelers out about finding Beasts a permanent home after its abbreviated run, but still have some signed Cemetery Dance copies on hand in the meantime if you’re interested!

It had a much more difficult road to publication and getting on people’s radars than Our Lady (women serial killers and girl power in the 80s versus satanic snuff films in the 70s), so it’s touching to see Beasts of 42nd Street neck-in-neck with it on GR…!

We hope we’ll be able to fill an entire panel truck of food to distribute to them. As a former Guinness recognized Tetris Champion (really) I’ll be periodically visiting the truck through October to reorganize the contents and maximize the amount of food we can fit inside!

Vickery Meadows is both one of the most diverse and poorest communities in America, hosting families from Afghanistan, Myanmar, Syria, Latin America, and more. That’s why my shul is collecting food to distribute for the HHD, and I’m playing a part…!

Anywho, if you want a little bit more multimedia out of the experience, consider checking out the audio adaptation of Landis with a career-best voice performance by Kelli Maroney!

Considering how indispensable Friedman’s book is it’s a fascinating change and I dare say it’s probably still #3 on this list. My big guess is the popular of Forty Deuce is due to the lack of photos in both Bill/Michelle’s book as well as mine, a regret I’ve spoken about at length…

Fun new development on the Landis front: Josh Alan Friedman’s Tales of Times Square has been bumped from the most frequently bought package by The Forty Deuce photography book…

It’s not a NYT bestseller but I was happy to get a sales report this morning showing this has done much better for itself than I would have anticipated. Chris and I wrote this to try and help folks who need it, and if we’ve reached even one of those people, we did our job

It was an unexpected but touching pre-Rosh Hashana surprise to get a pic from the set of Mike Lombardo’s Dead Format this morning containing an Easter egg for a dearly departed friend. 🥹 Thanks for keeping the spirit of the video store alive, and along with it the memories of all those who loved it

Controversial opinion but Him bumps Sinners down to #2 for best horror movie of the year. It will NOT be a crowd pleaser, but, if you wanna know what it would look like if Ken Russel and Spike Lee got together with David Cronenberg to do ketamine and remake Any Given Sunday… this movie is for you.
