Just read about the process of making the film version of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and it is wild.
Honestly, The Offer ( tv show about making The Godfather) was wonderful, but holy shit, a tv show about the over-a-decade long effort to get OFOTCN made would be phenomenal in the right hands.

Most flags throughout the world are historically red and/or blue due to red & blue dyes being very durable lower cost dyes for wool and silk.
Most durable= black(used by pirates)
-It was, in part, feared due to the expensive black logwood dye; signaling a very capable pirate
