Framed as caution, this harmful decision targets the youngest and most vulnerable in our community, isolating them further. Though we can’t currently prescribe for young people, we’re committed to providing support through resources, counselling, and family guidance. We’re actively working to develop more ways to support young people and their families during this difficult time. This ban serves as a reminder that our community is being used as a political distraction. Governments should focus on solving real challenges, not scapegoating us or pushing harmful narratives to divert attention. To young people and their loved ones: we see you, we hear you, and we stand with you. You’re not alone in this fight. To our allies: we urge you to advocate for evidence-based, compassionate care and amplify the voices of those impacted. Together, we can push for a world where inclusive, evidence-based healthcare is the standard—not the exception. We remain steadfast in our mission to make healthcare accessible, flexible, and safe for our community. While working within regulations, we won’t stop advocating for the care and dignity our community deserves. This isn’t the end of our fight. Our community is strong and resilient.
