I tried to recreate a more interesting shape of a shield instead of the regular shapes (round or shield-icon-shape). Took me some time to get the shading right but I'm happy with how this turned out

Day 9: Mushrooms

I feel really into drawing houses these days so I tried to turn it into a house. Not as cozy as I wanted but ithe canva is small, hard to add a lot of details.

Day 4: Trees

I was intimidated, as I recalled that some youtube video I binge watched some time ago mentioned that bushes and trees were among the hardest things to nail in pixel art.

That's why initially I sticked with a basic color pallete, small canvas (16x16), and very simpple shapes.

Day 3: Bananas

I'm getting better at drawing 🎉

Experimenting with different styles of outline. They don't differ too much for a single banana, but for 3 bananas the blur outline makes it really hard to see, especially upclose.

Things look good from afar though. I'm happy!

Day 2: Cherries

Started with 2 simple sketches of cherries. Then I stopped a little and look for online inspiration. Came accross a video about creating the silhouette, then add color, then shading and outlines.

So that's what I tried to recreate in the next attempts.

Turns out you can change the canvas size after the file is already created 🤦‍♀️
