I never see anyone else talk about it and maybe I'm insane, but no one talks about why in Dark Souls 2 the fragments of Manus take the forms they do: Queens. Nashandra herself looking a lot like Dusk of Oolacile. Add in the lore from DS3 about Manus and Halflight, Dusk and Manus were a couple. #DS2
