Big Announcement ✨

Over the next few weeks, you will start to see my links and usernames being updated from "8BitWhitt" to "PrincessFaelia" 🧚‍♀️

I am so very excited for this name change and hope you love it as well. More information is available on discord and in the screenshot below ❤️
I put a lot of thought into changing my username last year, but could never really land on something that felt true to myself. After taking some time and reflecting on where my content is at, I have decided to change my stream name from "8BitWhitt" to "PrincessFaelia". This was a big decision that I did not take lightly. The reason for the change is that I no longer felt my name truly reflected the community I have worked to build. I do not play a lot of retro games and feel using "8Bit" in the title set an expectation for content I do not tend to produce. The meaning behind the new name came from quite a few different places. We have the tiara time channel point redemption and always have, so princess seemed to be a good start. This only felt more right as Princess Zelda and all the Disney Princesses are some of my favorite characters that have had a major impact on me. Faelia came from two different things, Faeries being one of my favorite creatures and Hylia being the Goddess in Zelda. I logged into Palia for the first time in ages and saw my plot name was also "Faelia" which made me feel like I had been drawn to this name for some time. I am very excited for the new year to start and feel very excited to be rebranding and setting everything up. I hope you are all excited and like the name as well. I hope to return to streaming on January 20th, but will keep you all posted on when the debut stream with the new name and set up will be. I appreciate you all so very much. I am also very excited to announce Ty and Zod will be joining us as mods in the new year. Thank you all for keeping this community safe and being wonderful members of it.

Very Long Message Incoming. As 2025 comes to a close, I reflect on this year and genuinely can not believe where we ended up and all that has been endured. I experienced so much loss very early on and ended up having to place streams on pause for half the year due to it. I moved 3 times in the first 4 months of the year and feel like I spent much of the year after just trying to catch my breath. Life steadily got better as the year continued, but I feel as if this week is the first time I have truly sat and caught my breath this whole year. While I have experienced some truly heart wrenching losses of friends this year, I have learned more about myself and what my boundaries are. I hope this will make me a better friend and person to those in my life. I have also come to be so incredibly grateful for every single person who interacts with this community in any way. Time is the most precious thing we have, and choosing to spend any amount of it on me is the best feeling you could ever give me. Streaming started as a way to just give myself set time to play games and has turned into this cozy and wonderful space filled with amazing people I would have never met otherwise. You all mean so much to me, and I am better for knowing you. I also want to take this time to specially thank every single one of you who have supported me in my streaming and content. I truly doubt myself consistently, but you are all so kind and supportive, and just talking to me while I jabber on and play games brings me so much joy and comfort in what I do. Even with the struggles this year brought, we have accomplished so much. We joined both the Twitch Women and Pride Guilds, raised over $1200 for the National Children's Alliance, reached over 100 new community followers, and I even posted a couple of VODs on YouTube after years of saying I would. As 2026 comes into view, I have quite a few goals and I am so excited for all of you to be here with me through them. Some of the plans I have for 2026 are: 1. Rebranding (more information coming soon - Whittmas will not be going anywhere). 2. More Collabs w/ friends. 3. Co-Working Streams. 4. 3 Night a Week Stream Schedule. 5. YouTube Exclusive Content. 6. Lots of Pokopia. 7. More Community Time / Building. 8. Sustained Posting of VODs. 9. Working towards metrics to apply for Partner. I know this was a long one, but thank you for sticking with me. I am very much looking forward to our journey in the new year. TL;DR This year was hard, but you all helped me get through it and I am so grateful to you, next year has some exciting things planned, and I hope you have a simply magical new year. You all deserve it.

The demon didn't seem to be listening. Sonny tried shouting at it again, stepping closer to the beast. Without looking, it lashed out its arm and sent Sonny flying into one of the shops across the street. I looked around for anything I could use to defend myself. Littered among the broken glass, I spotted the shotgun, the accompanying box of shells, some road trip snacks that fell from the console, and a shaken-up Dr. Pepper. I grabbed the bottle. "It's over, human." The demon stood tall over me on its hind legs, blotting out the sun from my view. "I was hoping you could take part in your fiancée's torture, but you've been enough of an irritant. You'll just have to imagine the horrors. Now, do the world a favor and stay dead this time!" I removed the bottle cap as the demon lifted its enormous clawed foot over me. Fizz erupted from the soda and I whipped it at arm's length, sending most of its contents upward. Steam bubbled from where the liquid made contact and the beast fell backward, howling in pain.

I can not tell you how freeing it has been to not have regular streams scheduled for the weekend. Balancing a full time job and streaming is so hard while also maintaining normal life stuff. If you've been thinking about it, I feel it has done wonders for my general mental state 🫶🏻♥️
