Voters gave the Chiefs $250 million for renovations in 2010. Its not like the place was falling to pieces.

This feels like a lose-lose situation. Missouri loses the team, and Kansas assumes a ton of debt for a stadium in a poor urban county.

They're using the burbs as leverage to get more money and concessions from KC and Missouri.
It makes perfect sense if you have a clear idea of what you want. The Royals don't, and the whole thing is kind of a joke now.

No. All Congressional races are based on the popular vote. The EC is deeply flawed, but it is not a hurdle to a viable third (or fourth) party.
