You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you?

I feel good about my chances.

Such an ambitious shoot, but they couldn’t have gotten that look anywhere else. I made a pilgrimage to the location back in 2017. Hour away from anything but cows, and the roads are only barely maintained.

Everybody is dunking on this unfairly. He doesn’t say he talked to an *American* astronaut on the moon, people. 🙄

Honorable mentions:

Andor’s finale is really Rogue One, which I think is a good movie but not up to Andor’s level.

Burn Notice had a very rocky final two seasons, but the last episode itself was great, and the last *scene* of that episode is the most perfect final moment of any TV series.

post a show (or four) that are finished and stuck the landing (finale)

The Americans
Breaking Bad
Mr. Robot
Ted Lasso

(Yes, I know Ted Lasso is getting a fourth season. I think that’s a terrible mistake. Regardless, until it’s undone by S4, the S3 finale is perfect TV.)

Take the fictional characters quiz and post the first four you know: openpsychometrics.org/tests/charac...

Well, the math checks out: trans hacker; VR designer played by a trans person; witch; and introvert.

The process of selecting a new Pope:

Step 1: US stops buying from China.
Step 2: China produces 14.8% less rather than sell that elsewhere.
Step 3: Their workers earn 14.8% more per hour rather than receive pay cuts.
Step 4: Giddy with newfound leisure time, they line up to buy everything that’s cheaper to make in the US than there.

A movie that takes place where you’re from

This is literally the building (real location Georgetown, TX) I went to school in in 1979. The window at the top of that fire escape didn’t open, but kids would climb up the slide until they slipped and slid back down (or got caught 😅).
