I've been doing speedrunning for fun my whole life. Mario 3 in high school, some point and click games as I got older. But this weekend was the first time I tried to do one with the purpose of submitting it to speedrun.com. May not be a WR, I placed 14th, but I did it. I'm on the board.

Watching the newest @gmskeptic.bsky.social video and the cult leader super reminds me of one of my friends from high school. Like, if he hadn't passed away I could've seen him doing this.

I know in the mess of wires that is my brain that "archeologist" is a real word that is pronounced the way it is. However every time I hear it, for just a second, I feel like it's missing a mid-word syllable. Just feels like it's not a full word.
