Workshopping the first line for the intro of my upcoming book. So far the front-runner is "No one that can predict the future would sell it to you, but hopefully I can get close enough to make it worth the journey." but I'm unsure. Too melodramatic? Not melodramatic enough?

Saw this meme today. Very humorous. Though I do wonder about it's accuracy, given the average typing speed of human developers. This could, in theory, still be a net positive if it only takes 2 days to debug the code. I may have to add something about this to my current research!
