Hi. Thanks to those who checked in & sent well-wishes--really means more than I can say. My mom, who many of you "know" from my anecdotes, is now in hospice, so I'm going to be offline for a while. I'll be back when I'm able. Take care, be kind to each other, make sure the people you love know it. ❤️

My god I feel this so hard. Trying to print things for my chronically ill mother and every time, I have to uninstall her printer and reinstall it and then it remembers me riiiiight up until the next doc I want to print.

I set chrome to default to web search instead of AI search and I am delighted. 😙

1. Go to Settings -> Search
2. Look at the list of search engines, and hit the plus button at the bottom left of the dialog box to add a new one
3. Name the new item “Google Web Only,” and give it the nickname of “gw”
4. Set the URL as https://www.google.com/search?q=%s&udm=14
5. Set it as your default search
