Did I lock the door?

One evening last year, walking back from the pub, I saw these on a wall

I don't get groceries delivered, so I wasn't aware of what these posters were actually about

For a glorious moment I thought it was some sort of political statement trolling the seppo vice president

Could it do a better job than this?

It's a little known fact that the "R" in RFK jr stands for Ralph

JFC

Churchill was a right wing genocidal war criminal

Just because he was the (unelected) prime minister of a country that fought against a fascist country it doesn't make him "antifa"

I asked one of the billion dollar slop generators what was in this image

The answer was not what I expected

Yeah, nah.

Poms were using "autumn" before the 1500s and there was plenty more migration to North America before Webster encouraged the seppos to talk as they do.

Webster is also to blame for "gotten" and some other ridiculous usages.

Some say Latika could never surpass her "Theresa May is too left wing" article, but she has been striving to do so ever since.

For example: her prediction of this year's election was a valiant attempt.

This is the one that made me gasp.

At first I thought it was just some A.I. rubbish where the background of a photograph is removed and replaced with some stock image.

Then I wondered if Prince Andrew might have been the photographer

I am surprised and disappointed

I was expecting @picketer.bsky.social to have photoshopped Bob Santamaria's face onto Pepe by now

Morrie Stanley (and a 25 set) was the exception to the rule.

The apostrophe may not have been the fault of the poster.

My phone thinks you can spell "until" like this:

Popeye and Ocker turned up to welcome another generation of troops home in 2008....

.....and definitely not to continue the lie about missing out on a welcome home themselves...

(Which is fortunate because there's plenty of evidence of the "Welcome Home Popeye and Ocker" parade in 1970)

I can't remember who I stole this from

(I found it today while spring-cleaning my files folder)

If anyone knows the original owner please thank them for me

Disclaimer: I do not condone violence or encourage it, but this video is a good antidote for the Weltschmerz caused by current events

Everyone knows it was actually Brian Cox who invented Aussie Rules

Did Billy Joel's song change the way we talk, or was he reflecting a change that had occurred?

I remember a photo (in the Guardian iirc) of a young boy sitting on the wreckage of the stealth bomber giving what was described as the "peace sign" with his fingers

I haven't been able to find that image online, so here's one of people dancing on the wreck

A real robot cleaner already exists, but it is a 10cm high disc and can clean more efficiently than any human

People who think a robot cleaner should be a humanoid shape should not be employed in any industry

Even the seppos seem to be tiring of the "thank you for your service" thing

The other place is a sink of human depravity, but there are some gems to be found there.

This, for example:
