Sad and stupid are the only words I can think to describe this. Our public lands only exist but for the passion of public servants. To treat the public land workforce like this is shortsighted and shameful.

What still hasn't yet gotten sufficient attention is that the federal workforce - not just VA - is disproportionately made up of veterans. That are many reasons. One is that there are many logical paths from uniformed services into fed workforce. There are also employment preferences for ...
1000 workers have been fired from Dept. of Vet Affairs, including veteran Andrew Lennox who was actively serving NW Ohioans at the VA. Andrew served as a marine in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria — he, and the fellow veterans he serves, deserve so much more. The indiscriminate, illegal cuts must stop.

My only possessions are pencil and paper a cup I use for coffee - best invention humans ever make - a Nintendo Switch that someone left behind cuz I scared them when they was popping in woods and a Nokia phone I can get interwebs with.
