Prolly not his favorite day ever, but legal and reasonable. The cops were responding to reports, observing facts, investigating, and acting upon the absence of probable cause by releasing him. Now compare that to ICE, who exit their vehicle to shoot a peaceful civilian 5 times after ramming her.

I reviewed the janitorial notes from the previous day, which noted the damage … the day before. So I told the cops to let him go bc time is linear. They let him go. That was reasonable suspicion, a lawful detention, and speedy investigation leading to his release.

Reasonable suspicion. Few days ago, local cops were called to a park restroom facility for a report of a crazy guy wrecking the bathroom partition walls. They arrived on the scene to find both of those things: crazy guy, wrecked bathroom. So, they detained the guy and called me.
