Crochet advice needed. 🧶 What is the best invisible join for crocheting in the round? Slip stitch created a diagonal seam and I’m sure there’s a better method. Instruction was to join and then C3 for next row of DCs. Pics of outside/inside. TYSM! #crochet

Knitters, crocheters and other yarn enthusiasts are feeling the ripple effects of President Trump’s repeal of a tax exemption for low-value imports.

Crafters face higher prices, delivery delays and supply issues.
Knitters snagged by tariffs, as yarn brands pause shipments to U.S.
At least a half dozen European brands suspended deliveries after the de minimis exemption ended, leaving crafters to contend with higher prices and supply issues.

I spent two days in Libby Limbo because my library card wouldn’t verify. Just when the March issue of Booklist Reader and a book hold became available. In February, I read Liz Cheney’s memoir Oath and Honor, about J6 and the resulting investigation by the House Select Committee. It illuminated how fragile our democracy was during the events of J6 and how imperative it is to protect it from enemies foreign and domestic. Highly recommend. 4⭐️

I’m finally getting around to reading BABEL by R.F. Kuang. It delves into colonialism, power, identity, and resistance, exploring whether oppressive systems can be reformed or must be dismantled. A timely tale of language, exploitation, and the fight for justice in a fractured world. #booksky
