Not set in Canada, but love Marianna by Susanna Kearsley. One of my all-time favourites.

The Tempe Brennan Series by Kathy Reichs (American author but set in Canada), Chief Inspector Gamache Series by Louise Penny.

Any books by Linwood Barclay - great thrillers.

I’m currently on book 10 and feeling sorry for Tony with all the paperwork! Got to love Mrs McCutcheon’s Cat.

Don’t mind sweary if it’s in context.

Yes I’m midway through that series and love them. Something about detective series set in Scotland.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’m currently reading through the Inspector McLean Series by James Oswald set in Edinburgh.

A nice easy writing style and the type of series that grows on you. Most of my Aries are set in the U.K. so enjoy the odd one set in the U.S.
