I like Moore's work but I feel like he has to be insufferable to be around

Is this the queer version of "ice pirates"? Which was already a fairly queer movie along with being trippy af

Shit, I wasn't supposed to be giving my kitties cigarettes!?!?

Deep fuckin cut, sir

Honestly it's better evidence for god than most I've seen. "The Falcons can only exist as a Divine joke" makes far more sense than any other explanation why there should be a god

Like no, banish me out to the wind and cold, I absolutely shouldn't be doing this near normal people

People finna land drones on that roof at every opportunity

I still smoke but I really didn't need much exposure to indoor smoking bans to realize that it does just make spaces a lot more pleasant when they don't reek and have visible nic stains

What really makes a car smell like cigarettes is putting the butts out in an ashtray and letting them hang out. Yes you can still tell, but it isn't nearly so obnoxious

That one on the left is absolutely a Mercury Grand Marquis ca 1984 or so because I owned that car in brown.

Aside from getting like 10 mpg it was a great car

Brother I promise you he will dig through that bedrock and sooner than you think

I'm no rams fan, but Puka was one of the guys in the league I was really liking and all his recent bullshit has really knocked a lot of the shine off for me.

I mean I expect most professional athletes to be terrible but I will typically overlook it as long as they aren't loud about it

I have avidly watched every bears game this season and by about week 8 I had determined that I could not predict with any accuracy who they would win or lose to

As a woodworker this breaks my heart because that old furniture will literally last forever as opposed to garbage IKEA shit with the lifespan of a kindergarten's pet hamster

But no one can afford homes and can't move a 500 pound Ebony/Mahogany dresser

And a single board of this stuff is like $350

The real shame is that it is valuable and is built to last but few people have the time or inclination to store it until the right buyer comes. I have two storage units I need to clean out full of nice but not great wood furniture and a couple of pieces that are v nice but have no home.

They'll be at a premium once I start using carts of "bill laimbeer's combat basketball" to load programming into my cyborg army!

Dial is probably better than temple on the merits but I rank temple higher out of nostalgia

I can tell right when it comes on and it annoys me for about 5 seconds and then I'm used to it

On the plus side I have a movie to check out!

There was a commercial that was on all the time in the mid-late 90s for a headache cure called head-on and they repeated "head-on! Apply directly to the forehead!" About a dozen times in 30 seconds
December 27, 2025 at 3:54 AM
Probably didn't help that the title immediately makes me think "apply directly to the forehead"

I've seen a few acts i thought I wouldn't like but was pleasantly surprised by due to free tickets or being part of a music festival.

En Vogue stands out as an act I wouldn't have paid money to see but really knocked it out of the park.

I have one friend who went to see the new one on opening day and loved it, but I have never had much interest and haven't seen them.

Similar to Nickleback, but I feel like during their heyday enough people still listened to terrestrial radio to be familiar with their work
