This is the most Chicagoan troll by two heads of a church ever.

I might have to go over to the other site to see if Decision Desk has seen enough? Mamdani and Lander have consistently summer above 50%. If Lander's voters ranked Mamdani second, he wins in the second round.

Blame this guy. He did a horrible job in working on a passable solution.

The idiot is this guy, he even looks dumb in this photo. Why did he think the $1.50 tax delivery including packages would fly? It's like he never worked to get consensus around the revenue part and it showed here.

Hey that would be an improvement for the White Sox.

Also Chicago Infused Style.

Somewhat of a deep cut

Also uses a cutoff that makes his case much easier. If you say 52 years, that peak in 1973 is factored in. I'm also not sure his chart has 50 years in it.

But if we make it 52 years? The peak in 1973 wasn't surpassed until 2019.

A chart that goes further back to show this.

A deeper cut.

His OBP is good but not great at 588th all time and not close to being good enough to say he changed the game to become more focused on OBP instead of AVG.

It isn't that far fetched but I might go with the White Sox. But the larger point is if Raines is the only one that you think Ichiro is better than he still is far from making the all time 40 man.
January 22, 2025 at 1:08 PM
Tbh Sheffield had better MLB numbers at the plate but Ichiro lost some of his prime years playing in Japan. This is more about Sheffield belonging in Cooperstown but the media viewed him as an asshole thus couldn't get the 75%.

How did he prove you wrong about the split? Before Monty's injury it was closer to 50/50. Not sure how much we can read into last night's snap count so I expect next season to have a similar split but also Gibbs with 60/40 split is pretty damn good.

Just in case you need support that TIF are additional property tax. The screenshot is from Pappas' property tax review from the 2022 cycle.
November 20, 2024 at 4:13 AM
That won't be a lot. If you cut the positions Lightfoot added in 23, you'll have 4 to 5 million for a budget gap of a billion. TIF reduction with increased levy is the best answer for taxpayers.

Data is imported from the budget data on the City's data portal.

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Alice in Chains.
