Thoughts, opinions and analysis on the sport, culture and business of PSG.

A PSG podcast in English. Currently on hiatus. Archives available on all platforms.
Here is my conspiracy theory, if I may: The municipal elections in Paris are next year march. That's mere months away and the incumbent mayor Anne Hidalgo, a supposed PSG supporter during good times is the public face of refusing the sale of Parc des Princes to PSG. I am sure there are others too.

Poissy is not an entirely different case. Very similar actually and the locals aren't all the rage about RER anyways. I mean if anything, it's further and from what I hear, quite difficult to reach for example for women's games. (Locals may school me about all of these things, feel free).

Massy has been mentioned. That'd be app. 45 mins from the city (depends where, but I checked from Opera). That's a long way for an ordinary person at night, especially if you want it to be for families with kids.

Might have a haircut today.

Injury Saint-Germain is back.

Doué was subbed off due to some discomfort, but the word on the street is that it wasn't anything too serious. More of a precaution.

Almost all of the possession, 0,5 sensible chances, parked bus and a few semi-dangerous counters. Good to have Ligue 1 back.

Some magnetic field pushing our shots 2-7 metres over the top bar.

Here's my approximate visual presentation of the first 45 minutes at the Parc des Princes.

JOUR DE MATCH!

The last match of the long campaign and history is there, waiting to be written.

90 minutes of football and anything can happen, but the team is performing on a very high level.

All in, no excuses.

The Club World Cup quarter final is upon us. Definitely a tough match against Bayern Munich. The winner of the match will continue to the semifinals and the other team goes home, holidays and preseason in that order.

Second last Ligue 1 match day today for our Parisians. The travelling squad is thin due to all the players resting and there is nothing riding on this match for either team. PSG have confirmed the top of the table & Montpellier the bottom of it remarkable 62 points below the league leaders.

Finalists. And deservedly so. Allez Paris 🔴🔵

Tonight is the night... Allez Paris 🔴🔵

Two matches today....

Coupe de France final for the women's team against the local rivals PFC. Let's get the trophy home 🏆

The men's team have a less significant match against Strasbourg and since invincibility is out of the window, the only goal is no injuries.

Tonight can be magical and I hope it is, but there is also another team and its supporters who have equally justified hopes and dreams.

And the finalist is not decided tonight.

Allez Paris. May this be a night to remember for all the right reasons.

Match day meditation:

How tonight goes, is not in my hands.

I can't score a goal for the team or make a match saving block.

They can't even hear me from where I am watching, but I will stand by the team no matter what.

Tonight's the night! Season defining 90 minutes in London. Whatever the score is, next week we will have to finish the job. We need clinical forwards, focused midfield and vigilant defence. Donnarumma needs a huge match also. None of this will be easy, but it's not supposed to be at this stage.

It is what it is.

Just a thought, might delete later.

Tonight our beloved PSG welcomes Nice at Parc. Never an easy match - Nice is not far from UCL football for next season, but neither can they rule out no European football at all. They have a lot to play for. For PSG it's is important to continue the unbeaten run, but also be at their best next week.

🔴 JOUR DE MATCH 🔵

The postponed Ligue 1 match day in Nantes against tonton Kombouaré & les Canaries.

Always a tricky battle even if we have been occupying different ends of the league table for some seasons. They have some great players like Moses Simon, Mostafa Mohammed & of course Alban Lafont.
April 22, 2025 at 8:28 AM
By far the most rotation we have had this season.

Good to see how Hernandez, Lee, Beraldo, Ramos & Zaire-Emery will do, they have things to prove.

But so do the young guys. Mayulu tends to be interesting. Mbaye is very out of position, but he is quick.

And on balance, quite a strong bench today 😅
April 19, 2025 at 2:48 PM
PSG is back home at Parc des Princes after another tough Champions League week and visit to England. Earlier match today against Le Havre who have all to play for currently heading to relegation playoffs. Won't be easy, but we expect some rotation.
April 19, 2025 at 6:43 AM
The semifinals next. PSG plays against Arsenal with a home advantage meaning that if the match is even, the extra time or even penalties will take place at Parc. Will absolutely not be an easy match up, but will absolutely be possible to get to the final. Allez Paris 🔴🔵
April 17, 2025 at 4:54 AM
PSG will have the home advantage on the next round and the match days are 29th of April and 6th of May. Second year in a row we are in the semifinals and four times out of the last 6 years.
April 15, 2025 at 9:49 PM
It's a match day and a decisive UCL night ahead of us in Birmingham, UK. With a few goals advantage for us, Villa has to attack which will hopefully open up chances for us after the first leg low block. Incredibly important first goal tonight.
