Having driver-only view skews the perspective here completely. Using language like "controversial bus lane" or "raked in" clearly paints the story here. Bus lane cameras are not here to punish the drivers but to keep the city moving.

I really wish Auckland Transport contractors understood that placing signs like that endangers people trying to get to said event on bikes. Particularly with kids.

Turns out Waihiki Island in summer is a bit like Hotel California - you can check out bit you can't leave (becaue of the limited capacity of the ferries)
