Ex-Navy enlisted, not officer.

Yeah, it does. The thing to see is what punishment looks like.

Nothing?

Retired to a cush gig at Palantir?

Something meaningful?

Uno Reverse to this admin?

We'll see.

I wish I would've jotted down a couple of them. One had two vocalists, alternating words and channels, with the music playing opposite.

Lots of the covers had the feel of someone learning a new suite of tools, but that was a lot of Tom's Diner and I couldn't give the artists a fair shake, lol.

This is cool! Thanks for sharing.

I wonder if this could scale enough to replace or supplement more traditional potassium carbonate manufacture. My understanding is that involves charcoal or industrially produced CO2.

Saves transporting an input to manufacture it.

Yeah, like at this point this was a student very clearly recruited to bait this kind of situation. And because academic discipline is never a neutral situation it’ll work: bsky.app/profile/cait...
a lot of people debating the merits of that dogshit essay meanwhile the girl’s mom is retweeting demands to ban all trans people from teaching at any level. it’s forest for the trees shit

Mose Buchelle's The Disconnect is a dive into the blackouts during winter storm Uri. I do grid ops for a living and that series is genuinely excellent in its accuracy and accessibility.

All of Jamie Loftus' solo stuff is great, and Crooked Media's Wind of Change is very good too.

I was gonna make a joke about that being too much Jethro Tull but I'd sound like an ass ~3 hours into this.

This is an open ear headphone and plenty busy kind of thing, definitely not actively listening. It *has* been interesting how many covers sample or cover a cover though.

Previously, these belief systems tended to collapse under their own weight. Contradictions and memory gaps made them hard to sustain. Now the AI removes that friction, it produces timelines, summaries, and "forensic" explanations on demand.

A lot of people are pointing out that this guy is no prince among men and that JPMorgan Chase has done some stuff, and right—that’s what makes it so notable that this guy thinks there will be accountability for this stuff in the future. He believes this is the *strategic* choice. That’s revealing.
