MTG is nowhere near being a moral voice yet - she says she still supports Trump, which no-one of good moral character has ever done.

But if the DOJ is investigating everyove except Trump, can't they still release all the Epstein file material relating to him?

The BBC is operating in a politically poisoned country - the king and the prime minister saw to that with relentless "diplomatic" flattery of Trump motivated by fear of Farage. Like these fascist pests, they have no trust in the civic decency of their people.

It's not so much a "new" pay package as a "potential" one - and it will never eventuate, because Musk is far too foolish to achieve the benchmarks (which are absurdly optimistic anyway).

Luckily for Governor Pritzker the right to free speech includes the right to split infinitives.

Perhaps MTG is taking baby-steps on the path taken by Michael Cohen and others who have learned that they were all along mistaken at heart over MAGA politics. Not every deluded victim of a con artist keeps marching to the tune of every Harold Hill endlessly.

The trouble is that Democrats keep doing the wrong things - attempts to shield the public from adverse consequences of electing Trump are counter-productive. The full calamity should be allowed to run its course so that a hard lesson in civic responsibility can be belatedly learned.

If the Democrats were politically competent they should by now be securely poised to gain 50+ seats at the midterm elections and Prop 50 would be unnecessary.

The American people gave Trump absolute pardon power - there will be no-one left to prosecute after he exercises it en masse and then resigns so that POTUS Vance can pardon him.

None of this contradicts my original statement that Bannon asserts there is a way for Trump to be POTUS again after his second term, and that election as VP (per Coenen's cogent theory) may be a method these reprobates have in view.

If you are familiar with a major expert's opinion differing from your own, it's good form to acknowledge it upfront.

Please read Coenen on this - it applies for instance to LBJ who was VP first, rather than to DJT who was not. The Constitution is interpreted by logic, sometimes twisted by SCOTUS, not by homespun intuition.

Correction - the author's name is Dan T. Coenen

Try reading 'Two-Time Presidents and the Vice-Presidency' by Dan T. Coen (2015) at digitalcommons.law.uga.edu/fac_artchop/...
"A twice-before-elected President may become Vice-President ... and ... succeed from that office to the Presidency for the full remainder of the pending term."
Two-Time Presidents and the Vice-Presidency
Does the Constitution limit the ability of a twice-before-elected President to serve as Vice-President? This question, as it turns out, presents an intricate constitutional puzzle, the solution of whi...

Jen Psaki didn't ask, the expert guest proposed it as an open possibility. Conflating election with serving as President is not stated or implied in some people's reading of the Constiution, and the current SCOTUS is comprised of some peculiar people.
October 26, 2025 at 4:21 AM
You my hear otherwise from experts in US electoral law - Jen Psaki interviewed one yesterday who made the same suggestion as in my first posting on this topic.
October 25, 2025 at 11:24 AM
You interpret being President and being elected President as legally the same, when others understand a clear distiction.
October 25, 2025 at 10:24 AM
Where does the Constiution say that someone elected President twice can't subsequently be elected Vice-President, and if so potentially serve again as POTUS?
October 24, 2025 at 8:45 PM
Trump didn't start as VP
