As far as the real work of constituent services that reps often provide, I think Alam has a real edge there. She is definitely connected in the community in an active way as compared to Foushee

And I really want Adam to do well, so I am really hoping to learn more about the way they see their specific ideology play out legislatively. What will be the tangible difference compared to Foushee in what work gets done

For sure! My ideology aligns More with Alam. But being a white dude in the south, Im also hesitant to really oppose a pretty well liked older black woman who has definitely shown the capability to change based on constituent feelings.

Seeing Foushee on this is why the Foushee-Alam rematch is interesting. Doesn’t seem to be a distinctly clear policy/legislation difference for some of their positions

Trying to explain this to people is infuriating. It’s a large language *model*. It *models* & predicts responses based on data given certain inputs. It doesn’t think in the way you or I do. But I suspect that the vast majority of folks think that they/humans also think in this very Skinner-esque way
