What we are seeing is an administration that values trolling the people who didn't vote for Donald Trump over helping the people who did.

The more we skirt issues to avoid calling attention to them and potentially increasing their momentum, the more we couch terms to not seem dramatic or reactionary, and the more we try to rationalize away what we're watching happen, the more we're normalizing it all.
