The brown and white boy is Niko. We adopted him from a rescue at age 4 (he’s also FIV+). He is the sweetest, most loving cat 95% of the time, is unafraid of the dogs, and took Nemo (the orange) on as his sidekick when Nemo came to live with us (he came from a stray that had a litter at a friend’s).

Ranger (merle dog) was an SPCA puppy, Peach (lab x) was a large local rescue pup. Niko (brown and white cat) was a local cat rescue. Nemo (orange) was a rez kitten trapped by a friend.
Our local rescues are decent. The SPCA is by far the easiest to work with for adoptions.

The children and I went to Dobrá Tea in Pittsburgh because it was Sparkle Punk’s favorite place last visit with my mother and they wanted to share it with us. It’s beautiful and dim inside.
