Nothing was intuitive or taken at face value. Everything needed to be explained, placed in context, its utility explained. And you know what, so often the answer boiled down to people are silly, this ritual doesn’t make sense but people expect it or they won’t do what you ask.

He’s 11 years old now and going blind but is still the sweetest boy.

The brown and white boy is Niko. We adopted him from a rescue at age 4 (he’s also FIV+). He is the sweetest, most loving cat 95% of the time, is unafraid of the dogs, and took Nemo (the orange) on as his sidekick when Nemo came to live with us (he came from a stray that had a litter at a friend’s).
