I wish it were possible to axially bisect it and put it right up against a first-surface mirror.

(And no significant wind chill, at present)

I was down there in Danvers for an appointment today, the moisture in that wind really bites.

Thankfully I'm back home in Bangor, now.

They're great!

I chose to forego the desk entirely and moved all my screens into VR, though. I now have a wireless split keyboard with one half on each armrest, and I'm never going back (come end of March, it'll be 7 years full-time in VR).

It is NOT for everyone—but it IS amazing.

Curses! Foiled again—hoisted by my own pedantry.

First thing I saw as well.

However: english is ambiguous; that should probably be "Giraffe eating AN airplane."

It could also be cited as an: "Airplane eating giraffe."

Otherwise it sounds as though the airplane may be the one which consumes these cervically gifted reticulated ungulates.

They spew so much terrible nothing.

It's easily penetrated with the simplest comprehension of vocabulary, as they try to sound official by weaving a net of Important Sounding Buzzwords in a quick, circular patter.

Their verbal deflection and finger pointing is completely hollow.

And second season is *much* sharper.

Painfully poignant, but that's another matter—and also totally worth watching.

The pacing in general is really rough for the first season, several episodes just kind of… end. It's much better when binged, and you can get the right 2–3 episodes together so it flows better and breaks at a more satisfying transition.

Don't get me wrong, the critical things about the fascist authoritarian keystone cops being stupid and trigger happy are aptly represented—but it changes what was in Pretti's hand, erases an agent's head, etc. The caution I share is about the bad AI, not the composition from which it's derived.

This is a badly AI-upscale version of the actual freeze frame, and includes inaccurate or distorted details.

A water pick would probably work really well for cleaning in the irregular areas.
