Sorry to say, but *really* important: DON'T DO THIS.

Call animal control instead—a fox with quills is much more likely to be rabid, which would have led to the altercation that got it injured in the first place.

Do not take the risk, and do not interact. Let it be trapped, tested, and treated.

I'm on the hunt for artists/illustrators that specialise in landscapes and scenery, or who love drawing nature! 🌷🏞️🌳

I'd especially love to hear from BIPOC artists, but this is an open call! Self promo welcome, please comment with examples/portfolio links if possible ☺️

AOC to @pabloreports.bsky.social : A swastika is one of the clearest symbols of hatred in all of humanity… to remove that designation… indicates a possible collaboration with those very elements, which I think is genuinely frightening to any American.

When Trump was asked about the release of the Epstein files, he called one reporter "piggy" and said another was "being insubordinate."

When Trump saw a video calling on the military to follow the constitution, he called for the death of the Democrats who made the video.

He's a tyrant.

The President of the United States just called for my arrest and execution.

In these moments, fear is contagious, but so is courage:

For those interested in the ritualistic and monumental places of ancestral peoples, I cannot recommend Dr. Kelly's "The Memory Code" highly enough. Its narrative approach to the anthropology of pre-literate memory is filled with a deep respect and affection for humanity and its grand endeavors.

I could never get into it. I dipped a toe briefly when I saw it was a vehicle generating a lot of traffic for something I made, but I could never stay for long without experiencing a toxic deluge that was too much to ignore.

This place has been pretty awesome by comparison.

I have Glycogen Storage Disease Type IIIa, also known as: Forbes-Cori disease, partially in her honor.

Finding critical medical insights for us corner cases is exceptionally challenging, time consuming, and unrewarding, and I am SO grateful for her work!

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

A really good look at basic human affordances for XR product design, where the bar is currently set (very low) and how often Galaxy XR still fails to clear it.

Plus some good stuff, but this is well informed and neither a hatchet job nor gushing with unearned praise.
Alright, Galaxy XR review megathread, been drafting this for about a week now. tl;dr, a great upgrade option for QPro users, but has a lot of signs of engineers not being familiar with XR and/or rushing to release.

I've been a registered bone marrow donor for years, but unfortunately never tapped for service. It's a simple and easy registration process, and can make an enormous difference to those in need.

Give blood even if you're not a widely compatible type; they can still use it!

Also: nice party theme!
Our campaign Halloween bash is tomorrow!!

Join us in the back lot of 7016 N Clark Street for candy, Chicago dogs, and bone marrow donor registration!! www.mobilize.us/katforillino...

I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

"An official website of the United States Government. Here's how your know. ↓"

What an exceptional load of BS. It's so much shorter to tell the truth: "The administration is starving you to hold you hostage until the opposition lets us take away your healthcare."
