That is so odd. It is crystal clear for me tonight, but I know exactly what you are talking about. The last time the #Canucks were on Prime, the game looked like it was being filmed with a potato.

I think Rossi opens the scoring for the #Canucks.

Ha! Thanks. These are fun. My mental image of most former player GMs is from their playing days, but not for Jim, apparently. And you even hinted at the correct answer by choosing a game v the (North) Stars.

Not Lanz. Not Lindgren. Is…is that Doug Halward? I can’t make out his number to be sure.

Exactly! So it isn’t match fixing if you put him in game and give him more ice time — even though he is still learning and therefore prone to errors. Which is no doubt why Foote has kept his ice time so low.

Only in the extreme. But no one is suggesting playing Woo instead of Myers. Raty, though, is a better player than Kampf, and he is getting reduced ice time or sitting out because he is also a riskier player. Accepting higher risk for his development, if it also improves draft odds? Yes, please.

It can also mean giving the young guys more playing time instead of less (or not playing them at all) because they might make a mistake that costs you the game.

Look at the Sharks under Greer. Trade vets for draft picks and young prospects. “Weaponize” cap space (less valuable now the cap is higher) by taking other teams’ bad contracts in exchange for picks. Through it all, the players on the ice are going to their best.

Rossi seem like a good choice.

I’ll say he gets the assist 🍎 — Brock gets the goal. 🚨

Quinn signed a 6-year deal that walked him to free agency in OCT 2021. Benning wasn't fired until DEC.

I think Quinn said "no thanks" in 2021 to committing for an extra two years bc of the managerial malpractice we could all see. He's paying more attention to the team and league than any of us.
