Federal Labor has confirmed it will spend $2.3bn to slash the cost of household batteries by 30%, as part of a dual cost-of-living and climate action pitch to voters.
The party believes the change could save households about $4000 on a typical battery, with expectations that more than one million new batteries will be sold by the end of the decade.

So Duttons gas policy is just another sham. And will literally cause the unreliability they claim to be fixing. Its just more coal keeper. Or they will just have to admit one day that we need the renewables, but first they gotta wreck everything, just like the did to the NBN.

This whole duopoly thing is such BS, we had the chance to vote not to destroy climate action, the NBN, school funding, to get rid of negative gearing, capital gains tax discounts in the past, all based on major party differences, but no the duopoly line is put out their to make sure we get nothing.

Dutton and Angus have been arguing arguing that we should be driven into a recession and to increase unemployment to deal with inflation. Truth is that the government spending is the only reason why we have had any positive growth at all. This despite them also producing a surplus.

Time to stop calling Dutton's energy policy a "nuclear policy" They have already admitted its all about extracting even more gas than what Labors proposing. Really it should be called a "super gas profits" policy or "delay renewables to make bigger gas profits" policy
