So Leveson 2 was aimed to cover the press’ relationship with the police and politicians, and the politicians (of both major parties) won’t implement it?
I’m shocked…
And the “it’s all on social media” line is a smoke screen - more people now read the Mail online than bought the paper…

Ha ha… not a bit of it….
I’ve seen the movie, and recently saw the stage show of Mockingbird, and it was outstanding.
Richard Coyle was Atticus Finch.
Lots of school groups there, so it must still be an exam text.
And it was replete with all the “language” - hadn’t been “updated”.

I really enjoyed it.
I believe “Santa” has a copy of the new one for me, but I’m just finishing Osman’s latest, then I must do To Kill a Mockingbird (been promising myself for ages), then the new one.

Ulster, maybe??

Moreso with Beetham… 🤷🏼‍♂️

And they were all working, and paying taxes…
Unlike that smarmy twat, who gets most of his income paid into an offshore company so he doesn’t have to pay tax on it…

I imagine he’ll do it in the mirror in the luxury bathroom of his girlfriend’s villa on The Palm in Dubai

They’re all liars according to Tice on Today this morning on R4.
Presumably, even the teacher who opposed his becoming a prefect because of his views… 🤷🏼‍♂️
December 4, 2025 at 11:31 AM
That nice Mr Tice was on BBCR4 Today this morning and, when asked, claimed the 20(?) or so people who alleged Farage racially abused them in school were all lying.
It’s all made up to besmirch his reputation… apparently

Don’t look at Facebook, then!
The comments on posts from BBC Sport and Wales Online are appalling.
December 2, 2025 at 10:27 PM
Ooh - I had an email alert from Amazon earlier about this, so added it to my list for Santa, as - “apparently” I’m on an embargo buying anything this close to christmas!! 🤦🏼‍♂️
But looking forward to getting it in 24 days…

Maybe they could do it, say, over a bank holiday weekend.
Maybe in the spring time, for example.
And if you’re pulling a BaaBaas team together, they could slot in another couple of games while they’re in Wales.
Just an idea…. 🤷🏼‍♂️😉

Anybody ask him about the nazi salutes, or his use of the “n”word or “w” word?
November 24, 2025 at 11:37 PM
Isn’t that straight out of his best pal, Donald’s playbook???
November 24, 2025 at 11:35 PM
I lost count of the times I heard a variety of commentators mixing up Rey Lee-Lo and Willis Halaholo when they were playing for Cardiff.
Throw Ben Thomas and Theo Cabango into the mix and it’s bewildering!
November 24, 2025 at 10:30 PM
I struggled to watch the interviewer without seeing “Carmen Ghia”, from The Producers!!

Superb combination of work from Jac getting in the Puma’s way and pulling back, and Mann (I think, though not clear from that view) driving in from the Welsh side as the other got in with him.

I think this is part of Tindall’s rationale for R360.
Saw him at The Good, The Bad & The Rugby show recently, and he reckoned out of all the professional rugby clubs in the world (97?), only 2 make a profit - both being French. 🤷🏼‍♂️
November 10, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Quite right too. 👏🏼👏🏼
November 10, 2025 at 12:33 PM
Of course. Imagine if he’d got paid do all his QT appearances? (He didn’t, did he??)
He’d be even more wealthy.
And an even bigger cnut!! 🤦🏼‍♂️
November 10, 2025 at 12:32 PM
I think you’ll find it’s nine!
Plus his actual “day-job” as a member of parliament!!!!
November 10, 2025 at 12:05 PM
Hmm. I’m not sure..
I mean, I don’t like the guy, but for about 5 years before I retired (2018), I don’t think I attended a meeting where anyone wore a tie. That included senior managers (up to CEO level) in some very big companies.
More concerned about Reddin’s “t-shirt with suit” look!
October 24, 2025 at 8:29 PM
No - drier, more crumbly. Malt loaf is much “gooier” and sticky.
October 22, 2025 at 2:06 PM
Let’s hope so…..
Unfortunately, I’d wager most of Farage’s fans don’t read The Times (probably a bit too woke lefty for them).
