Been a year since the business I worked for started to go pear shaped. Absolutely awful time. Had a great time in 2025 though after the business was wound up.

Absolutely baffles me just how many people will stand in a queue for food and drink. Waiting in line for one and a half hours for a waffle at the Xmas market or two hours for a slice of cake from a shop that’s newly opened.

I bought this issue! What a great magazine.
The 1991 MM Xmas special didn't have the most festive cover ever, but c'mon. This full-color hologram was seriously kick ass - plus the mag itself was absolutely jam-packed with meaty goodness. Almost 200 pages of reviews, previews, features, and general madness and mayhem. Epic!

My sister worked at an old folks home years ago and she said they’re worse than teenagers for it.
Work in an old peoples care home, the most common regret about their lives is the sex they didn't have. Now a lot of them are making up for that.

Not sure what happened or what’s going on….but I’ve noticed a few friends have turned to drinking Guinness. And they’re treating it like it’s the best thing they’ve ever tasted. Not even the same friendship groups either.
