stumbled onto a website that attempts to assign point values to every single speedrun on speedrun .com to rank players across myriad different games which is an inherently silly exercise but the data is kind of interesting

it's a sad casualty of a very locked down controller ecosystem (among other things) that games basically don't come with goofy peripherals anymore to support unique experiences
not all of them were good but there's no ps5 controller that has a spinner on it so clearly something is wrong
