Went for a short walk up the hill behind the studio into the forest this morning to scope out this year’s potential Christmas tree crop - easy to do now as the forest floor is still mostly snow-free - harvest time is unbelievably only one week away!

I was in a building this past weekend that had a number of Group Of Seven paintings on display that one could just walk right up to and touch; to feel the paint textures, the brush strokes, the artistry - I didn’t, but really wanted to!

There’s a farm I occasionally pass by on my way to the city that often has these cute Belted Galloway cows nomming away in the field - they’re an old Scottish breed that are sometimes referred to as ‘Belties’ or ‘Oreo Cookie Cows’ - I prefer to think of them as Woolly Bear Caterpillar Cows!

Morning Song.

Instead of posting the usual vintage music TV performance clip or morning-themed song, you be today’s song. Look lovingly at yourself in the mirror - make a plan - do something today that others will sing about for a long, long time. You’re the best. 🥰
