yes i really am not dysphoric at all but having one of my books say he/him on it makes me want to melt into the earth and disappear. you can write that on my coffee cup or say it in a meeting all day and night but please dont stamp it on my soul that is all i ask
There's a far difference from casual conversation with someone you will likely never see again, or even friends who you cannot control their perception of you, and then something that bears your very soul within it, like art does. I relate heavily.

The fun thing about getting older is that you’ll move apartments and states, and say for days afterwards that you should really use the heating pad for your back, and then not do it. And then finally use the heating pad, and it’s so good and feels so nice, and why didn’t I do this sooner?
