#BoardGames advent calendar day 11 - Holiday Heist -play a deduction game. Today, we played Hunt a Killer:Dead Below Deck. Like most of these, we solved all the puzzles, hidden codes, etc., but still got the killer wrong because we still couldn’t put together the “clues” to make a cohesive story.

The EXIT advent calendars are my favorite. I love the surprise of opening each day and not knowing what puzzle you’ll find. That fits so well with the escape room theme.
We completed Day 2 and I'm blown away! I couldn't believe that this day's puzzle actually worked. Kudos to the folks who designed the intricacies of the box! #boardgames

The EXIT advent calendars are my favorite. I love the surprise of opening each day and not knowing what puzzle you’ll find. That fits so well with the escape room theme.

A tiny escape game with 12 puzzles. Most are simple (anagrams, mazes, crosswords), but the production quality is high and it plays fast. Not as creative as EXIT, yet simple, short, and satisfying.
